Pricing and Quotes
What's included in the price you quote?
Our quote covers labour, parts and the callout itself, agreed with you before a tool comes out of the van. That's the number on the job, a fair, upfront figure with nothing extra folded into the bill later, and no surprise line items once the work's done.
Do you ever charge more once you're already on site?
Not on anything you've already signed off on. Should we spot something extra mid-job, we down tools, walk you through what we've found, and price that piece separately before touching it. Nothing proceeds without your say-so.
Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?
No. Fair, upfront pricing applies whenever we're called out, whether that's a Tuesday afternoon or a public holiday well after midnight. We're open 24 hours for same-day emergency service, and the amount you're quoted reflects the job itself, not what day or hour it happens to land on.
How does the $65 off my first service offer work?
New to us? You get $65 taken off your first job with our team. Mention it on the call, or note it on the callback form, and it's deducted straight away, a plain discount with no catches attached.

Licensing Questions, Answered
What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?
It's the labour side of any plumbing work we do at your place, backed with no cut-off date rather than the usual token first-year cover. Any parts we fit come with their own manufacturer's warranty, which we'll walk you through at the time.
Is unlicensed plumbing work legal in NSW?
No, plumbing and drainage work in NSW has to be carried out or supervised by a licensed practitioner, with gas fitting needing its own separate licence again. Using someone unlicensed isn't just risky, it can affect insurance and compliance down the track. We hold both licences, so one visit covers plumbing and gas.
How long does the Lifetime Labour Warranty last?
Exactly as long as the name suggests, there's no expiry date and no year count printed anywhere on it. Our labour keeps its cover for good, with nothing counting down once you've settled the invoice.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, on both counts. We hold NSW Plumbing Licence #292427C and carry full insurance across water and gas work alike, with one accountable team handling both trades. That means no waiting around for a separate contractor to turn up and finish the job.

How Our Response Works
Can I book ahead instead of calling as an emergency?
Yes. If it's not urgent, tell us a day that suits and we'll pencil it in instead of treating it as a same-day dash. Plenty of jobs, like a slow-draining sink or a dripping tap, are better booked ahead than rushed.
What counts as an emergency?
Think active damage or genuine danger, water actively flooding a room, your single toilet blocked solid, hot water gone in the depths of winter, or a whiff of gas anywhere. Not sure either way? Ring us and we'll sort out how pressing it actually is.
Do you answer the phone overnight?
Yes, genuinely. We're open 24 hours for same-day emergency service, so a real person picks up whether it's the middle of a Tuesday or the middle of the night. If you'd rather not wait on hold, the callback form gets someone ringing you back instead.
Can I request a specific time window?
We'll always give you a realistic sense of when to expect us, but emergency jobs get triaged by urgency rather than a fixed slot. For non-urgent work, we're happy to lock in a time that suits your day.

The Local Angle
Is Enfield within your regular coverage area?
Yes, Enfield is home turf for us, whether that's a call from a block off Coronation Parade or a home near the Aquatic Centre end of Henley Park. We're just as often working the streets around Liverpool Road and Beaumaris Street.
Are Enfield homes near the water more prone to corrosion issues?
Enfield actually sits well inland, with no coastal salt exposure driving corrosion the way it might near the harbour. The real wear here comes from age: plenty of pre-war and post-war homes still run original galvanised steel pipes that corrode from the inside over decades, salt air or not.
Why do older homes in Enfield have more plumbing emergencies?
Plenty of Enfield's Federation-era and inter-war houses were plumbed with earthenware clay drains, and a century sitting in reactive clay soil leaves those joints cracked and shifted. Mature street trees near parks like Henley Park send roots straight into those weak points, often turning into a backed-up sewer with no warning.
Are strata buildings in Enfield more prone to hot water outages?
Enfield has a mix of houses and unit blocks, especially the newer infill near the Liverpool Road and Coronation Parade hub. Apartment buildings sharing one hot water system tend to feel an outage harder than a standalone house does, since a single fault can knock out hot water for a whole block in one go.
